This week we welcomed ‘Murphy’ the volunteer police horse and his rider Amanda, when the police came to school. Murphy is one of a team of horses and riders supporting our local community to keep everyone safe. During our visit, we learned all about Murphy’s role across the local area. We also learnt about how to keep ourselves safe on rural roads from our local PC Jane Park.
Everyone in school enjoyed the opportunity to say hello! We even made Murphy a special Levens award.
